Academic Essays
This essay titled, “Unemployment: Building from Nothing through Creative Solutions,” won Dr Anzaa the first prize in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) National Undergraduate Essay Competition, 2018.
This is an undergraduate degree project titled, “Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Drug Abuse among Public and Private Secondary Schools in Makurdi Town,” written in 2019.
This essay titled, “Building Our People and Developing Our Nation: A Collective Responsibility” won Dr Anzaa the first prize in the Olusoji Akinwande Development Foundation National Youth Essay Competition, 2019.
This essay titled, “Kidnapping and Insecurity in Nigeria: Analysis and the Way Forward” got Dr Anzaa a special recognition in the Olusoji Akinwande Development Foundation National Youth Essay Competition, 2021.

Children’s Fiction (Short Stories)
Set in a rural primary school, the story is about Smallie – a boy being raised by a single mother – who influences his friend Nully through series of typical schoolboys adventures. The duo nearly fall into the hands of a trafficker.
The beautiful princess disdains all the young men in the village who want to marry her. Her father, the king, is worried. Now, she is infatuated with a handsome young man she only meets by the riverside. Where does this stranger come from and should the princess marry him or not?
The king’s favourite wife has committed a taboo by eating a ritual goat head meant exclusively for the king. Her refusal to admit to this takes the entire palace to the river. Will she finally confess or drown when it’s her turn to ask the river to carry her if she is the one who ate the goat head?
Frank is apprehensive of adults. He laments the disparity between the rules adults set for children and the ones the adults live by themselves. He plans how he will behave when he becomes an adult, but how soon will this be and can he wait? This short story won the First Prize in the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Benue State Chapter and Yusuf Ali Short Story Competition for Tertiary Institutions in Benue State, 2016.
